Thousands of state workers from the national and local government units, youth, community leaders, representatives from private organizations, and volunteers across Central Luzon join the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day. The initiative is in line with the global campaign addressing ocean pollution through beach and waterway cleanups held every third Saturday of September. The theme "Clean Seas for Healthy Fisheries" is carried out by this year’s ICC which aligns with the objectives of the United Nations (UN) Ocean Decade Challenge 3 which is to “Sustainably Feed the Global Population”.en
