    Excerpt
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources-Central Luzon (BFAR-3) is continuously empowering the fisherfolk community in Aurora province. In partnership with the Aurora Pacific Economic Zone and Freeport Authority (APECO) and the Municipal Agriculture Office, BFAR-3 conducted a technology caravan in Casiguran town last June 26-27 aimed at providing small and marginalized fisherfolk with sustainable livelihood projects. BFAR-3 Regional Director Wilfredo Cruz said on Thursday some 100 fishermen took part in the techno caravan that featured various activities focused on aquaculture, fish processing and financial literacy training.
