Exporters of fish and aquatic products to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are required to submit documentary requirements to be certified as supplier to that country, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources has reminded. In an advisory issued this month, BFAR said interested exporters should submit a letter of intent and the duly accomplished self-audit forms and make sure to provide complete information to avoid delays. The requirements are in line with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority’s requirements for establishments that intend to export agri-fishery products certified by the competent authority.
