Four associations of fishermen in Malabon City were awarded with motorized boats from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DOLE), and the local government on Monday, as part of Mayor Jeannie Sandoval’s goal to help address the livelihood concerns of Malabueños. Mayor Jeannie led the very first awarding of boats to the Malabueño fishermen groups at the Malabon City Amphitheater.
