local.seafdecaqd.extractRecognizing the importance of mangrove in protecting and enriching marine life, One Metro Foundation (OMF) has revitalized the Ibajay Mangrove Park in Aklan that serves as shelter and guardian of the water resources that provide livelihood to locals in the area. OMF, through its One for Trees program, recentky provided support to the local government of Ibajay by funding the plantation of 50,000 mangroves in a 44.22-hectare forest in the municipality. OMF will also contribute to the maintenance of the mangrove over a period of three years.en
