    Excerpt
Monthly fish unloading volumes in the country’s eight regional fish port (RFP) dropped by three percent in October as the peak typhoon season ends. The Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) said the country’s RFPs delivered 26,208 metric tons of fish last month, lower than the 27,106.31 MT recorded in September. The Zamboanga Fish Port Complex recorded an 81.26 percent jump in its monthly unloading volume to 665.04 MT, despite the devastations brought by Severe Tropical Storm Paeng, which affected provinces and cities in Mindanao.
