The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao — through the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform — conducted a two-day training for 35 farmers and fisherfolks from Barangay Pakias in  Bongao, Tawi-Tawi aim to improve agri-fishery production and strengthen food security in the region. MAFAR Tawi-Tawi provincial director Dr. Aidarus Nami spearheaded the "Training on Halal Agri-Fishery Production" in coordination with Bongao Municipal Officer Engr. Nurphy Ayub last 25 to 26 November 2023.
