The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources initiated the first meeting of the National Steering Committee for the Philippine Fisheries and Coastal Resiliency Project which aims to boost the country's aquaculture economy and uplift fisherfolks' livelihoods through an ecosystem-based approach to fisheries management.
