A total of P3.3-million worth of agri-fishery projects and marketing fund assistance were turned over to Negros Occidental’s farmers and fisherfolks. Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, along with Provincial Board members Rita Gatuslao and Jeffrey Tubola and officer-in-charge Provincial Agriculturist Dr. Dina Genzola, facilitated the turnover at the Negros Residences in this city on Feb. 8. Lacson cited farmers and fisherfolks for their crucial role in ensuring food security and boosting agricultural productivity.
