The Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) made the call over the weekend, stressing the need to protect Filipino workers. “We call on our social partners in government, especially the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), to prioritize the conduct of the national interest analysis and immediately secure the concurrence of all relevant government agencies that may be charged with the implementation of this Convention,” TUCP said in a statement.en
