Antique fisherman returns home after six days adrift at sea

A fisherman from San Jose de Buenavista town safely returned home after being adrift at sea for six days. Robert Benitin, a resident of the town’s Barangay San Fernando, arrived ashore at around 7 a.m. yesterday, October 25. Using only a paddle, he navigated his way back, a journey that took him five hours to complete. Benitin expressed his immense relief and gratitude to be safely reunited with his family despite the hardships he endured at sea.
