    Excerpt
A Chinese militia vessel “deliberately” hit a Philippine government vessel patrolling near Pagasa Island last October 11, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) said. BFAR said their vessel BRP Datu Cabaylo (MMOV 3001) was approaching Pag-asa (Sandy) Cay 4 when a Chinese militia vessel with bow number 00108 “deliberately sideswiped” the starboard bow (front right portion) of BRP Datu Cabaylo. The same militia vessel also “conducted dangerous maneuvers and tried to block the path” of another BFAR vessel.
