A total of 6 million metric tons of silt and solid waste were removed from various rivers in Metro Manila and in Bulacan, San Miguel Corp. (SMC) said on Friday, May 3. The total included more than 3 million tons recently extracted from over 50 kilometers (km) of rivers across the flood-prone Bulacan province.
