President Rodrigo Duterte said the Philippines should honor its commitment with China to pursue a joint exploration of the resource-rich Recto Bank to avoid "potential trouble." Duterte made the pronouncement on Monday night as he revealed that another party wants to "take over" Beijing's role in the joint exploration.
