Pupils from this town's Barangay Batang 2nd joined the mangrove planting activity of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) the other day. The project is aimed to promote the protection and conservation of this town's wetlands and mangroves. The DENR said the event included the planting of some 300 mangrove saplings.
