    On Wednesday afternoon at the storied Admiral Hotel in Manila which provides a breathtaking view of the historic Manila Bay, French Ambassador to the Philippines Marie Fontanel, chic in a blue dress that fit perfectly for the occasion, led the launching of the Blue Nations initiative, a comprehensive program that is part of the preparations for the United Nations Oceans Conference (UNOC3) in Nice in June 2025. The program is aimed at enhancing political, scientific and civic engagement in the fields of environmental protection, climate action, blue economy and maritime security.
