    The enactment into law of the Philippine Salt Industry Development Act is expected to generate new investments and new technologies to the country’s salt industry on top of reviving the “dying” industry, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) said Tuesday. The PCCI, in a news statement, welcomed the enactment into law of Republic Act No. 11985 or the Philippine Salt Industry Development Act.
