PCG deploys medical team to Pag-asa Island

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) deployed a team of doctors, nurses, and teachers to Pag-asa (Thitu) Island in the West Philippine Sea (WPS) to improve community welfare and education in the remote area. The team is comprised of a doctor, two doctor assistants, a nurse, two nurse assistants, and at least two educators. They arrived in the island last March 18 and their deployment will last for one month.
