To rehabilitate coastal areas and marine ecosystems in Negros Occidental, a total of 5,000 mangrove propagules were planted in Barangay Daan Banua, Kabankalan City. The tree planting activity on Saturday, March 23, was spearheaded by the Office of the Vice President (OVP)-Panay and Negros Island Satellite Office in cooperation with the local government of Kabankalan City, the barangay staff of Daan Banua, and Rebolusyonaryo Alyansang Makabansa.
