    Vivant Water, a unit of publicly-listed Vivant Corp., said Thursday the first water flowed from the train or distribution skid of its treatment plant in Cordova, Cebu, making it the first company to establish a utility-scale seawater desalination plant in the Philippines. The company said with the completion of the first skid, the plant is now ready to provide 5 million liters of clean and potable water per day to as many as 5,000 households within Metro Cebu.
