The Philippine Coast Guard rescued seven Chinese crew of a damaged fishing vessel in the sea off Suluan Island, Guiuan, Eastern Samar, on Friday night. The PCG Command Center received a distress call from FV Kai Da 899 due to damaged hull around 2:09 p.m. on Jan. 26.
