Good news to all Western Visayas fishermen. The fishing ban in the Visayan Sea has been lifted. Pwede na kapangisda liwat after three months prohibition (from November 2022 to February 2023). Here’s another related good news. No violation was committed kuno against the three-month ban on the catching, selling and buying of sardines, herrings and mackerels in the Visayan Sea, according to the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources. No closed fishing season violators were reported.
