    BFAR helps boost salt production in Antique

    The Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR), through the Development of Salt Industry Project (DSIP), has been helping boost salt output in this province as its 15 coastal municipalities have been identified as ideal sites for salt production. BFAR Region 6 Fisheries Post Harvest and Marketing Section officer-in-charge Sheryll Aguirre said they had assisted salt producers with their production input since 2022.
