The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources on Friday assured that prices of fish in local markets remain stable despite the threat of the El Niño weather phenomenon. Atty. Demosthenes Escoto, BFAR director, said their agency continues to help fisherfolks with mitigating measures to cushion the impact of El Niño in the country’s food supply, as the weather phenomena have “positive and negative impacts” on the local fish supply.
