A man accidentally fell into the water from a boat off the coast of Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Saturday, July 29. The 26-year-old Joven Buenaflor was a resident of Purok 6 of the aforementioned barangay. He drowned. Buenaflor was fishing with his friends around 200 meters from the shoreline when their boat was slammed by a big wave, said Coast Guard District Western Visayas (CGDWV) spokesperson Commander Jansen Benjamin.
