To ensure that reefs and fish species are properly monitored and evaluated, expert divers from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) continue to conduct monitoring in coastal municipalities in Isabela. The BFAR office in Region 2 headed by Director Angel Encarnacion said the monitoring is in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Isabela province and concerned local government units (LGUs) in the coastal areas.
