The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and the United States Agency for International Development — through its Fish Right Program — conducted a dialogue with Central Luzon fisherfolk regarding illegal fishing in the region. According to BFAR, fisherfolk from Masinloc and Subic in Zambales, and fisherfolk from Mariveles in Bataan were asked to provide information on the impacts of fisheries decline.
