Marikina City Mayor Marcelino Teodoro on Tuesday said they will expand their dredging activities in Marikina River this year as part of the city government’s flood control measures. The city government is also eyeing to complete the construction of sustainable slope protection in the river banks using high resistant materials which serve as protection against river bank erosion that will reduce falling of debris into the water.
