The online petition urging President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to stop the construction of Kaliwa Dam has so far gathered 200,000 signatures. Stop Kaliwa Dam project convenor and Save Sierra Madre Network Inc. Executive Director Convenor Conrad Vargas said that the seven-day "Alay Lakad" which started last Feb. 15, 2023, will end Wednesday in Malacañang. The group aims to gather 500,000 signatures by Feb. 23, 2023."
