The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) on Thursday said 13,857 metric tons (MT) of imported fish have arrived in the country as the fishing ban in Palawan will end on Jan. 31, 2023. The Department of Agriculture (DA) has authorized the importation of 25,056 MT of fish in November with the annual implementation of the closed fishing season.
