Forty-four fisherfolk from the Island Garden City of Samal each received a motorized boat from the provincial government of Davao del Norte and the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (Opapru) through its Pamana program. Gov. Edwin Jubahib led the turnover ceremony of the motorized banca to 44 recipients in the fishing villages of Kinawitnon, Limaw and Tambo in Babak District over the weekend.
