The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources has banned the consumption and sale of shellfish in eight locations around the country due to red tide. In the Shellfish Bulletin 2 Series of 2023 obtained by Daily Tribune on Wednesday, the agency said that shellfish collected and tested in several regions are still positive for Paralytic Shellfish Poison or toxic red tide that is beyond the regulatory limit.
