local.seafdecaqd.extract | Seaweeds accounted for the biggest share of the total production of the country's fishery sector in the second quarter of the current year, data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) showed. Seaweed production in April to June 2023 reached 365,775 metric tons (MT), accounting for 33.8 percent of the production of the fishery sector. The figure was, however, lower by 4.9 percent from 384,729 MT posted in the same period last year. | en |
