The Senate on Wednesday approved on second reading the priority measure to save the artisanal salt industry. Senators completed the interpellation of chief sponsor Sen. Cynthia Villar, chair of the Agriculture committee, who accepted most of the amendments to Senate Bill (SB) 2243 brought forward by her peers.
