    Excerpt
The San Andres Aqua Culture Corp. (Sanacor) has tapped renewable energy to operate its shrimp farms in Sarangani. Engineer Shawna Mei Velasco said that Sanacor’s solar photovoltaics (PV) system was installed in 2019 and became operational in September 2020. “The solar PV system reduced electricity cost, grid power consumption, and waste and carbon footprint,” Velasco said.
