The Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) has opened a new multi-species marine hatchery in Alabat, Quezon to boost aquaculture production in the province. Sammy Malvas, DA-BFAR assistant director for operations and DA-BFAR IV-A regional director, led the inauguration of the hatchery.
