    The Philippine Chamber of Agriculture and Food Inc. on Wednesday warned of a looming shortage of canned sardines because of a three-month fishing ban starting in November. The group's president Danilo Fausto said that the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) was set to declare closed fishing season at the Visayan Sea on Nov. 1, 2022, and the Zamboanga Peninsula on Dec. 1, 2022.
