Sixteen passengers of a motorized boat were rescued after it capsized around five kilometers from the shore in San Pascual, Masbate on Monday. Petty Officer 2nd Class Donald Canoy of the Philippine Coast Guard said the passengers had been clinging to the capsized boat for more than three hours when they were spotted by a fisherman, who immediately sought assistance from the PCG.
