The Association of Fish Traders of the Philippines Inc. confirmed on Saturday the proliferation of imported frozen galunggong or round scad in the wet markets in Metro Manila. In a radio interview, the group's president, Jonjon Santos, said that the supplies of frozen galunggong were part of the importation allowed by the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in January and February this year.
