A green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) with a big lump on its neck will undergo an operation in Albay this week. The green sea turtle was accidentally trapped in a gill net, locally called, 'pangke,' which was fished out by local fisherfolk in Barangay Rawis, San Miguel Island, Tabaco City on Sunday, September 18.
