The Department of Agriculture (DA) issued on Thursday the implementing guidelines of its salt industry development project that seeks to boost the country’s local production of the commodity by expanding production areas. The DA issued Memorandum Circular (MC) 34 that outlined the implementing guidelines of the development of the salt industry project (DSIP) to “ensure the smooth implementation” of the plan.
