    Excerpt
The Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas KMP said several groups are asking for an explanation from the Bureau of Fish and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the safety of imported galunggong (mackerel scad) from China that comes with a two-year expiration period. The KMP claimed that these imported frozen fish sealed in boxes are being sold at a higher price of P180 per kilo.
