The amount coursed through the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) was allotted for the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center/Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD), in Tigbauan, Iloilo that will conduct the feasibility studies. The collaboration between SEAFDEC and BFAR was sealed by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement with Commodore Eduardo Gongona, representing BFAR and Dan Baliao, SEAFDEC/AQD chief.en
