    Capiz waters still positive for red tide

    The seawater around Capiz province is still positive for red tide toxins. In Shellfish Bulletin No. 22 on Nov. 4, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) announced that shellfish collected and tested from the coastal waters of the following areas remain positive for paralytic shellfish poison or red tide toxin beyond the regulatory limit: * Sapian Bay in Ivisan and Sapian towns * Roxas City * Panay, President Roxas, and Pilar towns * Milagros in Masbate * Dauis and Tagbilaran City in Bohol * Dumanquillas Bay in Zamboanga del Sur; and * Lianga Bay in Surigao del Sur
