A senior lawmaker yesterday filed a resolution seeking a House probe on the crackdown initiated by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) on vendors in local wet markets found selling imported fish such as pompano and pink salmon. In House resolution 600 dated Nov. 29, Cavite Rep. Elpidio Barzaga said BFAR should explain the legal basis of such a move.
