The National fishers' group Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamalaya ng Pilipinas (Pamalakaya) urged The Department og Agriculture (DA) and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) to junk their plan to import 45, 000 metric tons (MT) of galunggong (round scad), as well as mackerel and other small pellagic fish.
