Four candidates for president tackled the thomy issue of asserting sovereignty over the West Philippine sea amid China's repeated incursions in the maritime area at Tuesday night's presidential debate hosted by Sonshine Media Network International. Former defense secretary Norberto Gonzales said that he would vie for national mobilization of forces but will not press for war with China in dealing with sovereignty and territorial issues if he becomes president.
