    The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has issued a red tide alert for waters in Bataan, Masbate, Bohol, Zamboanga del Sur, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur. The affected areas based on BFAR’s latest test results include Mariveles, Limay, Orion, Pilar, Balanga, Hermosa, Orani, Abucay and Samal in Bataan; Milagros in Masbate; Dauis and Tagbilaran City in Bohol; Dumanquillas Bay in Zamboanga del Sur; Litalit Bay, San Benito in Surigao del Norte; and Lianga Bay in Surigao del Sur.
