    DENR Bataan, Mariveles ink beach cleanup pact

    The Department of Environment and Natural Resources Bataan and the municipal government of Mariveles have agreed to remove and dispose solid waste material deposits in the Aguawan River that leads to the popular Aguawan Beach. Raul H. Mamac, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer, and Mariveles Mayor Jocelyn P. Castaneda signed the memorandum of agreement at the latter’s office on Monday. Based on the agreement, the DENR will provide P1 million for the project under the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program. The municipal government prepared the program of work and financial plan.
