    A rice-fish farming technology demonstration project here by the Cagayan Valley (Region 2) Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has shown that it could significantly boost farm productivity and income of farmers. Sharon Celino, BFAR Region 2 senior aquaculturist, said the technology called “modified rice-fish farming system” was achieved by allocating a portion of rice farm to aquaculture production.
